Privacy Policy

Last updated: 16 October 2026

1. Who is responsible

The controller for the data described here is MCBILE · AI-powered apps, Germany ("we", "us"). Contact: contact@mcbile.app.

2. What stays on your device

The game stores the following in your browser (localStorage). This data is not sent to us or to anyone else; you can delete it at any time by clearing the site data of this page in your browser.

The game is also a Progressive Web App: its files can be cached by your browser so the game starts faster and works offline.

3. Analytics we use

ServicePurposeCookies
Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation) Understand how the game is played and where players get stuck: anonymous session recordings, clicks and taps, scroll and heatmaps, device, browser and screen size, approximate region derived from the IP address. Only after you choose ACCEPT. Until then, and after DECLINE, Clarity runs in its consent mode with its cookies switched off.
Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited) Count visits and see how the game is opened: pages, device, browser and approximate region derived from the IP address. Only after you choose ACCEPT. Until then, and after DECLINE, Google Analytics runs in Consent Mode with its cookies switched off. Advertising cookies stay off.
Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights (Vercel Inc., our hosting provider) Count page visits and measure loading speed and performance. No cookies. No cross-site tracking.

Clarity masks sensitive text by default and we do not ask you to enter personal information in the game. We do not use analytics data for advertising and we do not sell it. Microsoft acts as our processor for Clarity; see the Microsoft Privacy Statement and the Clarity privacy disclosure. Google acts as our processor for Google Analytics; see the Google Privacy Policy. Data may be processed outside the European Economic Area, with the safeguards the providers describe in their documents.

4. Legal basis

Storing cookies and similar technologies on your device for Clarity and Google Analytics, and the related processing, is based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG). Storage that is strictly needed for the game itself (settings, statistics, your cookie choice) is based on Section 25(2) No. 2 TDDDG, and the technical delivery of the game and basic statistics without cookies on our legitimate interest in running and improving the game (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

5. Your choice and how to change it

The first time you open the game it asks you to ACCEPT or DECLINE. You can change your decision at any time: open SETTINGS in the game and tap COOKIES & PRIVACY. Withdrawing consent does not affect what was processed before.

6. How long data is kept

Data on your device stays until you delete it. Clarity stores recordings and heatmaps for the retention periods that Microsoft applies to Clarity projects; see the Clarity privacy disclosure linked above. Google Analytics stores visit data for the retention period of that Google Analytics property.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, and the right to withdraw consent at any time. You can also complain to a data protection authority, for example the one in your German federal state. To use your rights write to contact@mcbile.app. Because Clarity data is not linked to your name, we may need a Clarity session or user ID to find it.

8. Children

The game is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

9. Changes

We may update this policy when the game or the law changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
